“Queen of the Irises” is an original hummingbird painting. A female hummingbird approaches an abundant Iris flower to take a drink of its sweet nectar. 

This painting was created with oil paint, and finished with a satin varnish. The cotton canvas is wrapped around 2 inch bars and stapled on the back of the frame. The sides of the canvas are painted to match the painting.
